Mingei International Museum

Today, I was able to complete a project I've been working on for a long time, the 3D model of the Mingei International Museum in Balboa Park (San Diego CA).

It's been a long 2+ weeks, but it has also been very enjoyable. I was able to learn to use GoogleSketchUp, a 3D modeling program, specifically designed for creating 3D models of real buildings to be added to GoogleEarth.

Google's process for adding the new models is to first let you build the model, then upload it to their so-called 3Dwarehouse, and then they take up to 30 days to review the model and decide weather they'll add it to GoogleEarth.
